In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxTWS, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxTWS event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussions and connections in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
What is Passion?
We often describe 'passion' as a powerful feeling; a compelling desire. But in all of its complexity, the idea of passion is confusing. It is intricate but lucid. It is encumbering but freeing. At TEDx@TWS, we aim to explore this concept, redefine our beliefs and question the impossible.
